So Beacons 2014 was massive. No hurricane was going to stop the party. We checked in with Alice and James, the awesome people behind Leeds’ based electronic duo Paris XY for an interview on the fucking ferris wheel but alas, the weather was not on our side, and they’ve had to move their set from one of the intimate tents to the main stage so this interview, excuse the misleading headline, had to be done via email. Nonetheless, we got quite a lot out of em: from talking about those early basement party days, to the amazing tour around Germany / Poland and of course the experience at Beacons 2014. So you guys started out in 2012 in Leeds. How does it feel to be able to take that dark basement party sound out on a massive tour just 2 years later? It’s pretty unreal to be honest.
